About the Event

A Charity Gala to Launch a National Preventative Health Movement

The HeartScreen National Launch Gala marks the official arrival of Preventia — a bold new movement to make preventative health diagnostics accessible, free, and standard across Australia. Hosted at Bond University under our strategic research partnership, this exclusive black-tie evening will bring together 250 of Australia's most influential leaders.

Our vision is to become the "Medicare of preventative health," starting with our flagship mobile cardiac screening service. In partnership with Bond University, Cardio Scan, and Holter Cloud, we are bringing hospital-grade diagnostics directly to GP clinics, aged care facilities, and regional communities — at no cost to the patient.

This gala is more than a dinner. It is a call to action — for government, for corporate Australia, and for every individual who believes that no Australian should die from a preventable heart condition.

How much do tickets cost for the charity gala?+
Individual tickets are $350 per person. Corporate tables of 10 start at $3,500. Sponsorship packages range from Silver Partner ($5,000) to Gold Partner ($10,000) and Platinum Presenting Partner ($20,000). All prices are in Australian dollars.
What is The HeartScreen and Preventia?+
The HeartScreen is Australia's first free, accessible preventative cardiac screening service. It is a Preventia initiative, partnering with Bond University, Cardio Scan, and Holter Cloud to bring hospital-grade heart diagnostics directly to GP clinics, aged care facilities, and regional communities at no cost to the patient.
What happens at the gala evening?+
The evening features a champagne reception, three-course premium dining, keynote addresses from government ministers, a sudden cardiac arrest survivor testimonial, live entertainment, a professional live auction, a silent auction via the Givergy platform, and a ‘Pledge a Screen’ fundraising drive. All proceeds fund preventative cardiac screenings for Australians in need.
How can my organisation sponsor the gala?+

Download the Sponsorship Prospectus from the event page or register your interest and our partnerships team will be in touch within 48 hours.
Is this a charity event? Where do the funds go?+
Yes. All funds raised at the gala go directly to funding free preventative cardiac screenings for Australians, particularly in aged care facilities and regional communities. The HeartScreen aims to prevent sudden cardiac death through early detection and accessible screening.
How is The HeartScreen different from a Heart Health Check?+
A standard Heart Health Check (Medicare Item 699) is a GP risk assessment that evaluates blood pressure, cholesterol, and lifestyle factors. It does not include any cardiac imaging. The HeartScreen goes further by providing actual diagnostic imaging — including echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound), 12-lead ECG, and 24-hour Holter monitoring — delivered on-site to aged care facilities, GP clinics, and communities. These tests detect structural heart disease, valvular abnormalities, heart failure, and arrhythmias that a standard Heart Health Check cannot identify. All HeartScreen services are 100% bulk-billed through Medicare.
Does The HeartScreen provide mobile echocardiograms to aged care facilities?+
Yes. The HeartScreen delivers hospital-grade mobile echocardiography directly to aged care facilities and nursing homes across Australia. Our cardiac sonographers come on-site with portable ultrasound equipment, eliminating the need to transport elderly residents to hospital. Every scan is reviewed by a specialist cardiologist, with results returned within 24 to 48 hours. The service is 100% bulk-billed through Medicare — no cost to the patient and no cost to the facility.
What cardiac conditions can The HeartScreen detect in aged care residents?+
Our mobile echocardiography and ECG services can detect heart failure, valvular heart disease (including aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation), atrial fibrillation, cardiomyopathy, left ventricular hypertrophy, pericardial effusion, and other structural cardiac abnormalities common in elderly Australians. Early detection of these conditions can prevent sudden cardiac events, reduce hospitalisations, and improve quality of life.
How can my aged care facility book The HeartScreen?+
Aged care facility managers can book The HeartScreen by visiting theheartscreen.com.au, calling 1300 043 278, or emailing [email protected]. We coordinate directly with your facility to schedule on-site screening days. GPs can also send referrals to [email protected]. There is no cost to the facility — all services are bulk-billed through Medicare.
